Centerline Boy Scout Fall Camperee
October 13,14, & 15,  2006
The weather was wet the first day, sunny on the second and third day, cold at night,
but the Boy Scouts(and Centerline) had a great time.  The following pictures tells the
story of the scouts 3 day adventure.

They cooked there own meals, slept in tents, work on merit badges, and did the
honor of performing the flag retirement for Centerline.

Scouts pick up unbroken targets to use for shotgun merit badge.  There were a bunch of
them.  (
Most came from the trap fields!  Must be some bad shots over there!!)
The Boy Scouts camp in a variety of styles of tents.
One of the main reasons the Boy scouts choose Centerline as their location is to enable the
kid to earn their merit badges for rifle and shot gun!
Saturday's events concluded with the traditional "fire bowl" where all of the
scouts convened in one location.  The scouts put on skits from each troupe
and the scout Chaplin reviewed  the scout oath as it relates to daily living.
The evening concluded with the flag retirement ceremony of Centerline's 9
year old flag.  All Boy Scouts stood at attention for this somber occasion.
There were other flags that were also retired at this ceremony.
Scouts received class room instruction
by Centerline's firearm instructors
before going to live fire training.
The Boy Scouts enjoyed good
fellowship Saturday night.  Great treats
like deep fried donuts and hobo pies
were consumed by all; washed down
by hot chocolate and apple cider.
